Knowledge of something that isn't true is not worth very much. So with reason, one is able to gain valuable knowledge by filtering through all the information that one receives. That is the best strength of reasoning.The weakness of reasoning is that it alone will not help you "know". You still need exposure to information and ideas.

A: I think our influence we receive before age 8 sets in motion our whole lives. Everything else is either additive or subtractive to that. So reasoning I would say is 95% over genes.
