- A: The shoulder blade isn't a joint to crack, as you're looking at it. To crack the shoulder joint, you should take your wrist and pull it behind the head (above) with the opposite arm slowly and then do the same with the arm behind the back (below the head). Example: right hand, left wrist, raise your arm over your head and pull with your right hand behind your head, then, lower the arm and pull behind your back (gently! you're not trying to dislocate!). That will crack the shoulder joint, but the blade is not 'connected' to the back (spine) in such a way as to crack. If your upper back is stiff and you think you need to crack it, then lower your body so your upper back is against a couch (or something similar) and drape your upper body backwards against the couch. That should help crack the upper back. Or 'cat' stretch. Get on your knees, stay on your knees and reach your hands out in front as far as they will go while staying in the kneeling position.

- A: Cross your arms infront of you with a hand on each shoulder and have some one stand behind you and give you a bear hug with there arm coming a couple inches below shoulder. Take a deep breath and as you let it out consentrate on totally relaxing your back and being limp then have them gently pick you up and lean backwards and it should pop. Then have them gently put you back on the floor. Works everytime for me. *note that its always best to go to a licensed chiroprator to pop your back. Doing things like this at home and can be risky and cause damage, if you choose to do it be carefull!
