- Q: how long do you keep a tampon in before it leaks and how heavy is yous flow?
- A: Every ones flow is different. Some women have heavy flows and some have light. Mine is light. Now when you use tampons somepeople say it's good to keep it in for up to eight hours. =/ I wouldn't keep it in that long. I only keep mine in for about 2-3 hours. And everytime I go to the bathroom I change also. You may know this, but keeping a tampon in for too long can cause you to get TSS (Toxic Shock Syndrome). So it's best to change every couple of hours.
