How far apart do contractions need to be before you go to the hospital??
Q: Im currently about 40-45 minutes apart, how long should/could it take before actual labor begins. I'm pregnant with my first.
A: My doctor told me when the contractions are consistently 5 to 10 minutes apart, go to the hospital. How long should you wait before you go to hospital?
Q: Im only 23 weeks pregnant but was just thinking ahead. When or if i go into labor on my own i want to stick it out at home for as long as i can as the hospital is only 5 minutes up the road. but when should i go to the hospital like how far apart should my contractions be before i go as i would rather be at home but not long enough that i have the baby lol
A: My doctor told me to wait until they were 2-3 minutes apart, but I couldn't do it. I went in when they were about 5 minutes apart, and luckily I was 4cm dilated so they took me. I'd do what you feel most comfortable with. I think most women go at about 3-5 minutes.
